Early access: the first stable release is still being tested.

Download Crosstalk

Crosstalk brings your coding agents into one desktop conversation: Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Kimi and DeepSeek. Ask one to make a small change, have another review it, and keep approval requests and replies together.

Choose your download

What happens nextWindows and macOS may warn you the first time. Here’s what to choose.

On Windows

  1. Keep the download

If Edge says the file isn’t commonly downloaded and you trust the download source, open the download’s … menu, then choose Keep , then Show more , then Keep anyway. Once it finishes downloading, check its SHA-256 checksum before opening it.

  2. Open the installer

The Windows installer isn’t code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may say “Windows protected your PC”. If you trust the source and the checksum matches, choose More info, then Run anyway if that option is available. If it isn’t, report the block.

  3. If Smart App Control blocks it

There’s no per-app override. Don’t turn Smart App Control off; report it instead.

  4. If anything else looks different

If you see a publisher you don’t expect, or a message that isn’t described here, stop and report it.

On a Mac instead?

On macOS

  1. Install it

Open the .dmg, drag Crosstalk to Applications, then open Crosstalk from Applications, not from the disk image.

  2. If macOS blocks it

The Mac app isn’t notarized yet, so macOS may say that Apple cannot verify the developer or check the app for malware. If you trust the source and the installer’s checksum matches, try opening Crosstalk once, then go to System Settings , then Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway if available. Confirm Open when prompted. If the option isn’t available, report the block.

  3. If macOS says the app is damaged

Stop and download the installer again from the releases page. Compare its SHA-256 checksum with the listed checksum before reinstalling. If the warning returns, report it with the exact message and your macOS version.

  4. Keep your protections on

Don’t turn off your Mac’s security settings to open Crosstalk. If you see a message that isn’t described here, stop and report it.

Before you install

Four things to know first

  • Bring your own agents

Crosstalk supports Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Kimi and DeepSeek. In this build, opening a new room requires both Claude Code and Codex to start successfully; add the other agents through Setup. Use your own sign-in or API credentials.

Crosstalk does not include model access.

  • Your allowance pays for it

Conversations, including handoffs and automatic compatibility checks, can use your provider allowances. The app’s token display may be incomplete; monitor your provider’s usage too.

  • Expect a warning the first time

The Windows installer isn’t code-signed yet and the Mac app isn’t notarized yet, so your system may warn you. What happens next shows what to choose.

Don’t turn off your operating system’s protections to run Crosstalk.

  • Start with a project you can discard

In the default Agents decide mode, edits can happen directly in your project and Undo is off. Keep Ask first while trying edits, in a Git project you can throw away; review the diff and run its tests.

All platforms

Every installer

Choose the installer for your operating system and, on a Mac, your processor.

  • macOSUndo and parallel tasks are Windows only for now.
  • LinuxNo Linux build yet.
  • Windows on ArmThere’s no Arm build; the x64 installer hasn’t been tested on Windows on Arm.

The .zip, .blockmap and .yml files on the releases page are for the app’s updater; you don’t need them. Check the release notes for tested combinations; a combination they don’t list is untested, not implied support.

What else you need

Your agents, your accounts

Crosstalk supports Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Kimi and DeepSeek. In this build, opening a new room requires both Claude Code and Codex to start successfully; add the other agents through Setup. Use your own sign-in or API credentials. Crosstalk does not include model access. Agent conversations, including handoffs and automatic compatibility checks, can use your allowance.

  • Claude Code and Codex

Chat, review, file edits and approval requests, each through its own signed-in CLI. Both are needed to open a room in this build.

  • Gemini

The Antigravity CLI and its sign-in. Crosstalk applies Gemini’s file changes inside your project; Gemini never runs commands.

  • DeepSeek or Kimi

Kimi Code. DeepSeek needs your own DeepSeek API key with credit; Kimi needs a kimi.ai account with a Kimi Code plan. Both join for discussion and review only. On Windows, Kimi Code also needs Git for Windows.

  • Git

Needed for Undo, parallel tasks and the Git panel. Undo and parallel tasks are Windows only for now.

Step-by-step setup is in the guide

Verify your download

Check the checksum

GitHub lists a SHA-256 checksum for each installer. Run the command for your file, then compare what it prints with the checksum here: the two should match exactly. Letter case doesn’t matter.

  • Windows x64 (64-bit)

    Crosstalk-Setup-0.1.0-beta.19.exe

    SHA-256
    81c334220b3a2c8f9716dd24af18785cc0a40bb7936d8c7129ec298fedfb7784
    PowerShell
    Get-FileHash "$HOME\Downloads\Crosstalk-Setup-0.1.0-beta.19.exe" -Algorithm SHA256
  • macOS Apple Silicon

    Crosstalk-0.1.0-beta.19-arm64.dmg

    SHA-256
    87a2bc15c74086e517779910ad886a796845272b7c1b4f1a9c2a40b71eb22143
    Terminal
    shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Crosstalk-0.1.0-beta.19-arm64.dmg
  • macOS Intel

    Crosstalk-0.1.0-beta.19-x64.dmg

    SHA-256
    6402431307db9b5c29d287bba911c53444932c2352c0d1ba80d72ab34c7aaa4a
    Terminal
    shasum -a 256 ~/Downloads/Crosstalk-0.1.0-beta.19-x64.dmg

The commands assume the file is in your Downloads folder. If the checksums don’t match, delete the file and download it again; if they still don’t match, report it.
